From Gabbie and Sammy LOVE raw meat!

Bored on VACATION? OH, how I'm DYING FOR A VACATION FROM WORK! Pretend..hmm..ok THIS IS PURELY PRETEND. 1. "I breed purebred schnorkpookinahuas. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, markings, etc." 2. "My dogs are perfectly healthy specimens of their 'breed'." Now just how sick are most of us of THAT phrase? 3. "No, because mixed breed dogs are much healthier than purebreds". Yeah, another sickly phrase. 4."Mixed breed dogs are healthier, and my dogs are 6 years old and perfectly healthy, so we don't need health guarantees". 5. "$800. That covers a sample of dog food and a few toys." 6. "I'm NOT going to require anyone to fix their dogs once they leave my house. It's THEIR decision!" Yet another sickening phrase. 7. Ok, this one wouldn't apply with mutts. 8. "I'm not going to require anyone to keep in touch with me". Barf. 9."I make $2-$4 grand a litter every few months." Barf again. 10."A female can breed until the day she dies, otherwise she'd stop having heat cycles"..again, BARF! Edit: No competent person would BUY a puppy before 8 weeks old. And it sounds like Cricket and I had the same idea.

From Sir Hoochalot

Ok, this is me pretending to be a reputable breeder. I'm nothing of the sort but may consider breeding responsibly one day (not for quite a few years I imagine). 1) What breed do you breed? What colors or varieties of the breed to you breed, if applicable? ~ Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Colour not hugely important as long as it is to standard (although I think pure black SBTs are beautiful). Health and temperament much more of a priority. 2) Do you breed just pet quality or do you strive for show or work quality animals? ~ Predominantly dogs with show potential but may have some pet-quality puppies available occasionally. I participate in agility and obedience with all of my breeding stock. 3) Do your breeding dogs have titles? If yes, what titles? ~ CH and obedience titles. Agility we do for fun. :) 4) How long does your health guarantee cover pups? Does it vary from pet to show quality dogs? ~ My health guarantee covers all genetic health problems that the breed is affected by. Fortunately SBTs are a *relatively* healthy breed but you can never be too careful. 5) How much do you charge per puppy? What is covered in this fee? ~ (LOL I don't know enough yet to put a price on a pet-quality puppy/ one with show potential). But any price would cover all breeding costs, health guarantee, genetic testing, pedigree, a life-long source of advice and support, etc. 6) Are pet quality animals required to be fixed? What's the consequence if your rule is broken? ~ Yes, I equire all pet-quality animals to be fixed unless I already have an established relationship with the buyer and fully trust them to not breed a dog that isn't of breeding standard. Considering I would have a legal spay/neuter contract, anybody who broke that contract would be taken to court. 7) Do you require that all animals of high show quality be sold to show homes? ~ Yes. I will mentor new exhibitors though. 8) What kind of incidents would you like to be made aware of during your pups' lives? ~ I like a picture every few months at least (even more freuqnently when they are pups), to be kept up to date if any dog is unwell on injured, to be told when they finally pass on and I of course insist on meeting the dogs every couple of years. 9) How much profit do you make from a litter? ~ Absolutely none. My profit is producing healthy, stable puppies. :) 10) What do you do when a b*tch is done breeding for her life? ~ Spay her and let her enjoy a happy retirement. I'd love to get into therapy work some of my older dogs too. That was fun. :) And, just because, this is me as a BYB. Get ready... 1) What breed do you breed? What colors or varieties of the breed to you breed, if applicable? ~ I breed Staffordshire Poo Terriers. All hypocallergenic and none of them ever pee. My speciality is RARE blue SPTS. 2) Do you breed just pet quality or do you strive for show or work quality animals? ~ Only pretentious tosspots do that show stuff. 3) Do your breeding dogs have titles? If yes, what titles? ~ *confused look* 4) How long does your health guarantee cover pups? Does it vary from pet to show quality dogs? ~ All my puppies are vet checked and wormed. :) 5) How much do you charge per puppy? What is covered in this fee? ~ £2000. The puppy is included, what more do you want? My house? 6) Are pet quality animals required to be fixed? What's the consequence if your rule is broken? ~ Once they've gone to their new homes, it ain't my problemo. 7) Do you require that all animals of high show quality be sold to show homes? ~ *even bigger confused look* 8) What kind of incidents would you like to be made aware of during your pups' lives? ~ I don't really give a damn. They're not my dogs anymore. 9) How much profit do you make from a litter? ~ None. *cough* 10) What do you do when a b*tch is done breeding for her life? ~ What? Didn't you know? Lady dogs get their period until they die so they can be bread when they're really old!

I breed designer dogs, and I'm trying for a purple pugglaschoodle (it's a german cross hybrid) 2) Do you breed just pet quality or do you strive for show or work quality animals? I breed for pet quality since pet quality is good enough, right? 3) Do your breeding dogs have titles? If yes, what titles? titles? huh? 4) How long does your health guarantee cover pups? Does it vary from pet to show quality dogs? I guarantee the health of my dog's for the first 5 minutes or until you hit the end of my driveway, which ever comes first. 5) How much do you charge per puppy? What is covered in this fee? I charge 250.00 for males and 350.00 for females incase someone wants to breed them. That covers a free bag of old roy with each pup 6) Are pet quality animals required to be fixed? What's the consequence if your rule is broken? That's why I charge 350.00 for the females incase someone breeds I get a cut. After that, I don't care 7) Do you require that all animals of high show quality be sold to show homes? huh? 8) What kind of incidents would you like to be made aware of during your pups' lives? that they make me money? 9) How much profit do you make from a litter? all of it! All shots/deworming. UKC & NALC registration and two weeks of food - raw/kibble Micro. 275 for shipping covers crate ticket and vet certif. 6. Occurrence of genetic issues, titles won, death, litters born or even just a simple update. 9. Breaking even if I am lucky. A couple hundred if I am REALLY lucky. 10. Fixed and either stays with me or rehomed to an approved home. Legit: Yes thought unless there was a valid reason for it I simply would not want to.

From Sαrα~ Taking a Break

Bored on vacation? You sound like me. I'm going to pretend to be a horrible BYB. 1.) I breed Labrapeekahuadoodles. I only breed two color variations, the RARE colors. 2.) Pets are what people pay money for. 3.) I don't need titles, my dogs are the perfect pets (minus the behavior and health issues) and that's what people want. 4.) What's a helth guarntee? 5.) Rare coated males are $500, females are $750. All non-rare dogs are only $300. I have the cheapest purebred Labrapeekahuadoodles in town! 6.) All my puppies need to be fixed. Labrapeekahuadoodles are MY breed and I should only be allowed to breed them. 7.) Doesn't apply. 8.) None, I don't care once the pup leaves my doorstep. 9.) I made so much last year that I bought a home in Vegas, YEAH! 10.) She has to stop? Legit- No way!

From Chuckles is losing her CIA status

I'm going to be a BYB. 1) What breed do you breed? What colors or varieties of the breed to you breed, if applicable? I breed Labradingers, any color is acceptable, pink is my favorite color. 2) Do you breed just pet quality or do you strive for show or work quality animals? My babies are NOT pets! They are babies! Awww, and I hope they never have to work, poor things... 3) Do your breeding dogs have titles? If yes, what titles? They have "Best Baby Dogs" titles. 4) How long does your health guarantee cover pups? Does it vary from pet to show quality dogs? 1 day. 5) How much do you charge per puppy? What is covered in this fee? $2,000. I make $1,950 every time I sell a pup. 6) Are pet quality animals required to be fixed? What's the consequence if your rule is broken? No! I let my buyers breed their little babies, I mean, they are precious! 7) Do you require that all animals of high show quality be sold to show homes? Showing my babies are NOT permitted! 8) What kind of incidents would you like to be made aware of during your pups' lives? They must have a picture update sent to me EVERY DAY! 9) How much profit do you make from a litter? Well, I have 7 pups *every* litter. and I make $13,650 every litter. 10) What do you do when a b*tch is done breeding for her life? Give it away.

From Clumsical of the !MC! Squad

just got to say, to all of those people who pretended to be backyard breeders, you sound too intelligent! You gotta dumb it down, use improper grammar and spelling, stuff like that! :P Hmmm, I wanna pretend!! 1) Border Collies and Border Collie mixes 2) work quality 3) no 4) lifetime 5) $50; a puppy that is all up to date on shots. 6) yes; removal of the dog 7) doesn't apply 8) major health concerns, an occasional happy update would be nice :) 9) not much 10) keep her as a pet This is what the person who sold me my dogs would have said. I got them from two different farms where their parents all herded cattle. They bred their dogs for more workers, and any "extras" they practically gave away to good homes. LG: I hate saying this but we once bought a dog at six weeks. I was like 8 at the time, I wasn't the dumb one. She's kind of my dad's dirty little BYB secret. She didn't turn out too bad. She had terrible mouthing problems but she's past them.

From Ava Girl * has purebred vigor

1) What breed do you breed? What colors or varieties of the breed to you breed, if applicable? -AKC shepherdoodles. All colors are beautiful! We especially look for blue eyes & charge more for puppies with blue eyes. 2) Do you breed just pet quality or do you strive for show or work quality animals? - That sounds judgemental. Dogs are not meant to be judged. They shouldn't have to work or prove themselves to be loved. 3) Do your breeding dogs have titles? If yes, what titles? - I won "cutest dog" on an internet photo contest! 4) How long does your health guarantee cover pups? Does it vary from pet to show quality dogs? - My Vet says my dogs are all healthy. He guarantees that. My 2 year old dog has never been sick in her life so her puppies will never be sick in their lives. Hybrid vigor proves this. 5) How much do you charge per puppy? What is covered in this fee? - My babies are priceless. I charge based on how much money I need to cover my bills that month. This one is gonna be a doozy. Ive had that AC cranked! 6) Are pet quality animals required to be fixed? What's the consequence if your rule is broken? - Thats cruel & deprives dogs on their need to be parents. I want all my puppies to breed. 7) Do you require that all animals of high show quality be sold to show homes? - Dog shows are cruel. Comparing one dog to another hurts their feelings. 8) What kind of incidents would you like to be made aware of during your pups' lives? - Im sorry what? I was distracted counting my money. 9) How much profit do you make from a litter? - Its all profit. 10) What do you do when a b*tch is done breeding for her life? - What do you mean "done"? I had a good time with this one. HAHAHA.

From Pretty Girl

I own Labrador Retrievers. They are show quality dogs. Three of my dogs are ACA champions. I do not breed puppies. My dogs are intact. I enjoy showing with a respectable kennel club. I would never breed my dogs. There are enough dogs out there already. I don't want to breed dogs, just own and show for the pure joy of it.

From Kristina Uman

1. Chihuahua 2. Pet Quality 3. No 4. 1 month 5. $450 6. No 7. No 8. Breeding, death, titles, health, etc. 9. Little to none 10. Dogs are bred throughout their lives I don't actually breed Chihuahuas, but this is what you are going to find from the average Chihuahua breeder. lol

From Catherine Rose

Yey some fun!! 1) What breed do you breed? What colors or varieties of the breed to you breed, if applicable? English Springer Spaniels. Black and white and liver and white. 2) Do you breed just pet quality or do you strive for show or work quality animals? Working homes only. This is either a shooting home or as a sniffer dog. 3) Do your breeding dogs have titles? If yes, what titles? The sire is either FTCh or FTW. As long as both parents can work and can do several days shoots in a season, that's good enough. Working dogs is not about earning titles- although trialling your dog is a whole other world and some enjoy to give it a go, others would just prefer a good ol' shooting dog. 4) How long does your health guarantee cover pups? Does it vary from pet to show quality dogs? Lifetime health guarantee- what good is a sick dog on the field? 5) How much do you charge per puppy? What is covered in this fee? £350-£400. A well bred, sound, trainable and diligent working puppy- 2 lots of vaccinations, wormed and flea treated as well as on going help/advice for new owners and a puppy pack. 6) Are pet quality animals required to be fixed? What's the consequence if your rule is broken? No, because none of them would go to pet homes- they aren't the right dogs to be in a pet home. Those that the police dog are up to them whether they are spayed/neutered- if the Police bred from them, they'd only breed to produce working dogs for their forces and so no dogs would be bred without purpose. 7) Do you require that all animals of high show quality be sold to show homes? NA 8) What kind of incidents would you like to be made aware of during your pups' lives? All incidents. I'd like to be kept regularly updated on the dogs progress. 9) How much profit do you make from a litter? Nill- Not in it for money. 10) What do you do when a b*tch is done breeding for her life? Continue to work her. Just because she cannot whelp does not mean she is useless in the field- unless it be medical ie. broken limb. .....preparing for TD Legit- Ahgh, not a pet dog no. Working dog, maybe. Lots of working dogs go at 6/7 weeks, they don't need to make friends, they aren't bred to play with other dogs, they are here to do a job and that's it.

From Harvey Morton

My dogs are used as stud dogs to females, so I will answer this one. 1. American Bulldogs, all colors, scott type 2. Working animals 3. Tracking titles 4. The dam owner takes care of that 5. Stud fee is $2,200 6. The dam owner takes care of that 7. A dog's working ability means more than it's beauty 8. Intact dogs work harder 9. $2,200 10. Again, not the dame owner, so not up to me Valentino is the only one I got when he was 6 weeks old, my other three were 10 weeks when I got them.
