I have a Lion Head Rabbit and Cats. I recently treated my Cats for fleas. I dont know what to do for the Bunny. She's young I don't know how old exactly. Im hoping someone with "extensive" knowledge of rabbits can steer us in the right direction.
Soo my 6 month old kitty is barely touching her food today. She ate a handful of dry food (that I tried bribing her to eat) and didn't touch her wet. That's all she ate today (now its around 8 p.m where I am) She also didn't play as usual in the morning or at any time today. She's just sitting quietly alone and is excessively sleeping:( This is really worrying me. She's not her usual self.
Now I can't take her to the vet until possibly next month, as I just payed for her spay and vaccinations (so I can't afford paying anything else for her now) . Apparently she also has/had fleas. So I got her purrscriptions flea control stuff. (even though the vet recommended frontline, yes i know I'm being cheap here but like I said I can't afford this now). So could this be a side affect from the flea medication. Maybe from the fleas (which I still don't believe she has because I haven't seen anything, only what the vet told me) themselves are causing this? If not, what can these be symptoms of (please provide information websites where I can read about it) ? How can I help her now?
P.S I also read somewhere that these can be symptoms of Anemia. However, I checked and her gums and tongue and they appear to be a healthy pink color. So I doubt this could be a problem?
She was spayed last wednesday. and today is sunday so its been over three days. and also no i didnt change her food. she eats the same food ever since we got her.
She constantly bites an scratches her butt area, now she missing some hair. The doctor didnt find any fleas .. I dont kno what it could be? Is it just irritation, will it go away?
Heres a link of how it looks..
