Cat Allergies

Is it likely my daughter's dog & cat allergy went away?

When she was 3 she tested positive to dog and cat allergies... it said she was severely allergic. She's 10 now. Is it likely it got better? Since she has been close to dogs with nothing happening.

Is is 5ths disease or an cat allergy? Help please.?

We've had dogs since my daughter was born. She is 12 months old. On Wednesday we got a kitten. On Saturday we went out, in the morning she was fine but I started noticed faint red dots on her face and small dots on her trunk and legs. I mean small, pin point small, dots. Her face was larger dots. I called her ped. and he said if she doesnt seem sick (which she absolutely seems 100% fine and no fever) then to bring her in on monday if she still has them. Obviously we are bringing her in tomorrow. Her face seems to be way worse. Especially when she wakes up. Its bright red big dots all over her face. My husband just picked her up from my moms (im working) and said they seem to be moving down to her chest. The really red dots that is. Does this sound like fifths disease or do you really think she could be allergic to the kitten? P.S. she did have a random fever last week too.

Can cat allergies make somebody feel really really miserable?

Okay so I had a cat now for about 5 years and about a year ago I started having trouble breathing.I then went to do an allergy test and found out that I am allergic to cats(nothing else though).I still have my cat now and it seems like lately I have been having really bad headaches, sometimes I even get light headed and every morning when I wake up I feel sick.I notices that I have accumalated a lot of mucus and flame lately and Im not sure if thats what could be causing me to feel sick and have headaches.I also still at times have trouble breathing and have to take a asthma pump.I just want to know can these headaches and feeling sick in the morning be caused by mucus and flame? The headaches are loctaed in the back of my head but at times I feel a pressure feeling right under my eyes...

can I get over a cat allergy?

I have had cats in the past without any problem, but the last time was around 14 years ago. We have recently brought home a rescue cat and my eyes are puffy and I have a bit of sniffles. I desperately want to keep the cat. I seem to recall hearing somewhere that pet allergies can be "gotten over" - can anyone advise? I also have 4 kids in the house aged between 2 and 9 - no symptoms as yet but am watching closely. Thanks in advance.
