How to calm a baby rat?
I'm worried about my baby rat which was bought from pets at home last week. She seems quite young, I'd say around 7 weeks old & since we got her she seems pretty stressed. she is making chirping noises & is not as active as she should be. I was assured by the pet shop that she had been checked out by a vet prior to her being purchased so I'm assuming there's no health problems. I bought her as a companion for my 5 month old rat but am worried about them being introduced at this time because the baby does not seem strong enough at the moment,I also don't want to keep them part or too long as I don't want either of them to be lonely. Would appreciate any advise Thanks to you all for your advise.Wondering if my Vet is wrong?
My Husband and I purchased a 2 and 1/2mo old Beagle puppy from a very good Vet off Post at my Husband's duty station in Korea. We also purchased a 2mo old small Yorkie from him as well before the Beagle. The Yorkie is full of energy. She loves to eat and play. When I looked at the Beagle before we brought her to our Apartment, she was playful and loving.. just like a normal puppy! Now a day later she wouldn't eat any food at all, started pooping liquid poop, and just wants to sleep all day. She is not playful at all. We brought her back asking him to take a look at her and she immediately perked back up when she got there. He gave her wet food and she at it. He gave us the remaining food left in the can to take home with us. About an hour later we got home and she threw up the food. She tried a bit after that to eat some more and she wound up throwing that up too. So it's been about 24 hours now since she ate and got sick the last time I mentioned and she will not even try to eat. She drank a bit of water and 5 mins later she threw that up. Now, the Vet is very trustworthy and knows his stuff but he said she's just nervous because she's in a new place and she needs to get used to it. We love on her constantly and she doesn't show any affection back. She looks very depressed. I'm going to bring her back to him tomorrow to have him take another look at her while the Yorkie gets her shots. I just feel like something is up with her besides being nervous about living in a new place. I could see if it was worse than the environment she was in but we leave a fan running while we're not home, she always has clean water, food in her dish, we cuddle with her, give her kisses, the Yorkie tries to play with her.. and she's just not having it. Hopefully someone can help me figure out whats really going on. Please keep it mature. No jokes about how Korean people eat dog and that could be why. That's just immature. She is a pet and should not be acting this way and I'm concerned for her health.Travelling pets from philippines to singapore?

Getting a Miniature Rex!?
I am going to turn 13 on September 30th! I would love a Mini Rex rabbit for my b-day... both my parents are okay with having a rabbit in the house, they are not like hamsters, my mom would freak out and have a heart attack if she sees a mouse-like creature! lol. So anyway, I would love a Mini Rex for my birthday! I have already studied about rabbits a lot, and I am sure that I am ready for one! Just a few questions... 1. I have birds in my room... if the rabbit gets sick, will it affect the birds in any way, visa versa? 2. Were is the best place for a mini rex? And what size cage is best? (minimum space) 3. If you got your rabbit from a popular pet store, what was the name of the place? Do you recommend this place for me to get my mini rex at? 4. What is the average cost for this rabbit? And other rabbit breeds? 5. How often should I clean the cage? 6. And any other info you have for me, I would really appreciate! Thanks! P.S. I would love a spotted mini rex, are those different in size, health, etc from the normal mini rexs?I finished high school now and having a difficult time on deciding on my careers T_T *sniff*?
Theone of biggest demand today is in medical but I do want to be involve in health but on non-human patients which is veterinary. But I looked up veterinary salary and the pay is demise to some but also a 44% up in demand since pet population went up and that got my hopes up. And wonder if I can go to technician to physician later in my career. And there X-Ray technician but I'm not much of a people person but the benefits and pay a pleasing and thats also a big demand. Which suits the best? I need to hear from the real okay? And another thing I live in phoenix, Arizona and wonder if financial aid will help in the beginnig becuase I have to take two year in glendale community college and the other two in a university.Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
